Dangerous Wishes is a fantasy short story that explores the theme of portal fantasy and is based on The Race for His Heart.

A girl from the real world, after reading The Race for His Heart, wishes that the story was real before going to sleep. When she wakes up, she finds herself in an unfamiliar place and after an unfriendly encounter with one of the characters, realises that her wish has come true, but no good thing is without its costs.
