Well what can I say other than what a shite day at college that was.

I mean Helena full on had a fucking mental breakdown at lunch, in the canteen bearing in mind, which really was not helped by the fact that Lily was sat on the table opposite us continually making sneery comments to her friends, like can’t you just fucking leave us alone, do you know what I mean?

Just so fucking irritating.

“Hey hey hey,” Pam exclaimed, holding a file in her hand, as we both walked through the door. “If it isn’t for our two favourite ladies, how was your day at college?”

“Shit,” Helena mumbled, shaking her head, as her skin was a pasty white. “But what’s new, eh?” She turned to look at me. “Do you want a cup of tea, darling?”

“Sure,” I said. “You get the kettle on and I’ll be there in a sec,” I looked at Pam. “I’m worried about her, you know. She hasn’t been herself for weeks-”

“I know,” She whispered. “I was talking to Jon earlier and,” She sighed. “We might request a meeting with the college principal and explain everything, maybe even see if we can finally get something done about this bullying.”

“That might be a good idea,” I said, hanging up my coat. “I might try and talk to her myself and see if i can convince her to talk to the school counsellor,” I looked at my phone. “Just gonna go and chuck my bag in my bedroom quickly,” I looked up at Pam and smiled. “Tell Helena I’ll be there in five.”

So, without further hesitation, I headed upstairs to my room. I wanted to help Helena of course I did. You know she was my sister, she was my best friend, she was the only person who understood what it’s like to spend your entire life in care, let alone having no contact with your family - you know I don’t even know if my family is alive, to be honest. Anyway, that’s beside the point, what I’m trying to say here is that what Helena’s been-

“Hello Maisie,” A man said, as I opened my door. He was a tall man, with a thick head of chestnut brown hair and a fine layer of stubble, with ocean blue eyes, ivory skin and wore a suit of armour. He was sitting on the end of my bed, holding a scarlet red thick book with golden pages in his hands. “My name is Hunter Mackintosh and I am here from Caelindria to deliver you an important message.”
