Austin sees a woman sitting with a cat in her bed in his dream. As he started to wake up, he felt warm and safe, and his dreams, for once, had not been nightmarish. He would rather have liked to keep sleeping.

"I can hear cats meowing." Austin thought.

"Isn't it true you cats have nine lives? Why don't you spare one for me, Fufu?" The woman said.

As a man walks into the room, the cat sitting with her looks toward the door.

He slowly opened his eyes, and stretched his arms a little as he was back in his room. He realized he had just been dreaming. He got up and walked towards the door.

"Are you awake?" Alisa said.

He opened the door and Alisa was standing there. She smiled and pulled back the curtain of the window, letting in bright light.

"Ugh..." Austin said.

"Morning, Austin." Alisa smiled.

"Morning." Austin said.

"You gave everyone a shock, one moment you collapsed, the next, you'd fallen asleep." Alisa said.

"S-Sorry. Was I that tired?" Austin said.

The haze of sleep finally cleared from his mind, Austin remembered that he was almost kidnapped by fairies and was saved by Jason and his pack. Like valiant knights, they emerged from the shadows, their eyes gleaming with determination. A fierce battle ensued, a clash of magic and might.

"I'm glad that you are okay, especially since you are supposed to be my mate."

"Your... what?" I asked.

"My mate," Jason sighed.

"Believe me I know we clicked immediately." Jason said.

"Yeah, well, it's possible I'm not entirely straight. I'm Gay." Jason said.

"Really?" Austin asked. "But does it mean that I'm Gay too?" Austin pointed at myself, trailing off. "Well, you do look good in my opinion, so..."

"I do?" he asked, and peered up at him.

"Hey, Jason." Jackson said. "Can I have seconds?"

"No, we have someone here with us, remember." Jason said.

"Oh right, Austin, you must be hungry." Jackson said as he took Austin to the Buffet, where the food was eggs, pancakes and all kinds of meat.

"Wow, you guys kind of like lots of meat." Austin said.

"Yes, Beef, lamb, Rabbit, sausages and deer, one of our favorites." Jackson said.

"Oh right, Austin, you must be hungry," Jackson said with a hearty laugh as he led Austin to the buffet.

The air was thick with the mouthwatering aroma of sizzling meats, fluffy pancakes, and golden eggs.

Austin's eyes widened as he took in the vast spread before him. "Wow," he exclaimed, "you guys kind of like lots of meat."

Jackson chuckled. "Yes, we do," he replied, gesturing towards the various dishes. "Beef, lamb, rabbit, sausages, and deer are some of our favorites."

Austin nodded, his gaze lingering on the succulent meats. He had never seen such a variety of dishes in one place before.

"Well, help yourself," Jackson said, patting Austin on the back. "We have plenty."

Austin eagerly filled his plate with a selection of meats, along with a few eggs and pancakes. He took a seat at the table, ready to indulge in the feast.

As he took his first bite, Austin's eyes lit up with delight. The meat was tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor. The eggs were cooked to perfection, and the pancakes were fluffy and sweet.

Austin couldn't help but let out a satisfied groan. "This is amazing," he said, his mouth full of food.

"Werewolves, Yes." Anakin said. "All of us are Werewolves."

"I understand that," I told him. "So I'm guessing you all don't have human friends?"

"Nope – we're not supposed to socialize with humans except with magical beings, especially with Mages," he explained.

"Why not?" Austin asked.

"It's my father's rule... He used to be a human, but he was turned, and he had to leave his family and friends behind..." Jason explained. "We are not allowed to bring humans into our territory since there are some that can't control their urges to kill or turn humans, especially during the full moon. It's not their fault, they just can't resist their natural instincts."

"Oh, I see..." Austin muttered, and suddenly realized he hadn't even thought about the reality of being a werewolf. "But you can?"

Jason's voice carried a profound sadness as he uttered, "Yes, I'm a born werewolf. Those who were once human but later transformed into werewolves are the ones to truly fear, like Anakin and Luna." His gaze conveyed the weight of the matter that lay heavy upon his heart. "That's one of the primary reasons why I hesitated to accept you as my mate."

Austin, listening intently, was curious and slightly taken aback by the revelation. "Why's that?" he asked, his eyebrows creased in inquiry.

Jason sighed deeply, his eyes meeting Austin's with a mixture of regret and concern. "Born werewolves, like me, are different from those who were once human and then turned into werewolves. We're inherently more in control of our transformations and possess a deeper understanding of our nature. But those who were once human and became werewolves often struggle to adapt to their new existence. They're more susceptible to the primal instincts and tend to be more aggressive and unpredictable."

Austin absorbed Jason's words, contemplating the implications. "So, you're saying that Anakin and Luna are more dangerous because they weren't born werewolves?" he asked for clarification.

Jason nodded, his expression somber. "Yes, that's right. They're like ticking time bombs, constantly wrestling with their inner turmoil. It's challenging for them to maintain control, and they're more likely to succumb to their darker impulses."

Austin's mind raced, trying to process the information. "But why did you hesitate to accept me as your mate? I'm a Sleigh Beggy, A Mage," he pointed out.

Jason's gaze softened as he reached out and took Austin's hand in his. "It wasn't because of your nature as a Sleigh Beggy. It was because I cared for you deeply and wanted to protect you from the potential dangers and complexities that come with being mated to a born werewolf. I feared that the challenges we would face together might be too overwhelming for you."

"I see," Austin said, feeling a bit more relieved. "But why can't you have human friends then?"

"Because it never works out," he said. "We will most likely stay in our territory and getting attached to humans will only cause pain. And we do have some trust issues – there's a lot of humans who want to kill us or use us or make money with us, so it's just easier to stay away."

"And I'm guessing that is why you didn't trust me? Or don't trust me?" Austin said as his voice trembled as he spoke, his words tinged with a mixture of hurt and confusion.

His question was met with a long, uncomfortable silence. The others seemed unsure of how to respond, their eyes avoiding Austin's. The tension in the room grew almost unbearable as Austin waited anxiously for an answer. He could feel his heart pounding in his chest, and his palms were sweating.

Finally, Anakin took a deep breath and began to speak. "Austin, it's not that we don't trust you," He said slowly, carefully choosing their words. "It's just...well, there have been some things in the past that have made me question your judgment."

As he flipped through the pages, a sense of wonder and awe washed over him. The stories and legends contained within these ancient texts painted a vivid picture of a world far removed from his own, a world filled with magic, adventure, and danger.

"This is our Grimm Wikipedia," Jason uttered, his voice carrying a mix of intrigue and amusement.

"Grimm? As in the Brothers Grimm?" Austin echoed, a hint of curiosity lacing his tone.

"Yes, that's right," Jason replied, a knowing smile playing across his lips. "Some of it is made-up, sure, but it's surprisingly accurate."

"Exactly," Jason confirmed. "It's a collection of stories that blend fantasy and reality, folklore and fact. Some are well-known, like 'Cinderella' and 'Hansel and Gretel,' while others are lesser-known gems waiting to be discovered."

Austin's fascination grew as Jason continued. "The Grimm brothers, Jacob and Wilhelm, spent years traveling across the world, collecting and documenting these tales from various sources from different species of magic, Wesen, Wizards, Witches, and the worst of them all vampires."

"Vampires?" Austin wondered aloud.

"Ah," Jason said with a grin. "For generations, Us werewolves have protected the world, keeping us safe from the most power-hungry and dangerous creature of all, Vampires?"

"But why, do people love vampires?" Austin asked.

"Of course they do. I mean sure they look cool on Twilight but they are selfish, vain narcissists with perfect Immortal skin and their King, Viktor, was the worst of them all. He wanted to control humanity to serve him and his alone. Normally, vampires are extremely strong and fast, but we are faster and stronger, equally matched, but their queen found an ancient weapon, Sword of the Wizard King, The only weapon powerful enough to defeat any being. We formed the front lines against him, and for that...we paid a terrible price. Frankly, I suppose we'd all be toast if it wasn't for my father." Jason said.

"No way. That's your Dad? Was he actually cool?" Austin asked.

"He was our greatest warrior. I mean, of course he was. He taught me everything I know. He engaged in a great battle with the tyrant and wrested away the sword. It was glorious. Viktor fell in battle and the sword was hidden away by my father." Jason said.

Austin's eyes widened as he listened to Jason's tale. "Viktor, the greatest warrior? I've never heard of him," he said, his curiosity piqued.

Jason's expression turned solemn. "Few have. His legacy was erased by those against the king. But my father kept the truth alive, passing it down to me. And now, I'm sharing it with you, Austin."

Austin's mind raced with questions. "What was the sword's significance? And what happened to your father?"

Jason's gaze dropped, his voice barely above a whisper. "The sword held the power to vanquish darkness. And my father...he...."

Austin felt a surge of empathy. "I'm sorry, Jason. I know how it feels to lose someone."

Jason's eyes locked onto his, a hint of determination in them. "Oh, my father has a sickness we don't know he will recover from."

"I see, is The West Wing still open." Austin asked.

"No, it's not safe for you, especially what's going on." Jason said.

Just then, Jackson, Lupin and Aki came into the room, "Ah, perfect timing," Jason said, his eyes gleaming with a hint of mischief at his little brother and his friends.

"Hi, Jason, Austin." Jackson and.

"I see you found our secret room." Lupin said.

"Yes, is there a problem?" Austin said.

"No! It's alright we never had a human visit us before." Jackson said.

"Yes, you do not have any human friends." Austin said.

Jason chuckled, "Well, Austin, it seems you've already figured out our little secret. Yes, we're not exactly... human."

Aki's eyes sparkled with amusement, "We're a bit more... extraordinary."

Lupin nodded, "We're a team, Austin. And cuz we really got a location for someone that we're looking for."

"That lady in black." Austin asked.

Jackson's expression turned serious, "The Lady in Black. Yes, we've finally tracked her down, she's in a town outside of Washington."

Jason nodded, "In Maryland."

"Ok." Austin said.

Jason's determination was palpable, "We need to stop her, Austin. And we need your help to do it."

Austin felt a shiver run down his spine. He was in this now, and he was ready to face whatever lay ahead. "I'm with you," he said, his voice firm. "Let's go to Maryland and take her down."

"No reluctance, ok, we might need you for this." Jason clapped Austin on the shoulder. "Let's get some rest, team. We've got a long road ahead of us, and a battle to win."

As the group dispersed, Austin felt a sense of belonging he'd never experienced before. He was part of a team, a family, and together, they would face whatever lay ahead. The thrill of the unknown beckoned, and Austin was ready to answer the call.
